
FORTitude for Teens Support Group
A four-week, one hour support group for teens ages 14-18, facilitated by a mental health professional, gives teens the opportunity to connect, share, and find they are not alone in their struggles.
This program is for teens who want support and are willing to support each other and engage with the group.

Susan Talbott
Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Resident; MA, NCC
Susan Talbott has a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Messiah University. She is currently working under the supervision of Dr. Steve Zappalla, LPC, in Reston, VA. Following her residency as a counselor in the state of Virginia, she too will pursue confirmation as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Susan proudly interned as a graduate student under the supervision of Denisha Hamilton, LCSW, as well as Steve Zappalla. Working with clients since the summer of 2020, Susan's experience thus far has largely been with adolescents, parents of adolescents, and young adults. Susan lives in Loudoun with her husband, their whippet, and during summer and holidays, her two college-aged children (a boy and a girl). As a native to Northern Virginia, Susan has first-hand knowledge of the unique challenges of growing up in Northern Virginia.
