About This Partnership
Extending The Continuum Of Care.
Many young people benefit from opportunities to build connection, confidence, and practical coping skills alongside clinical or therapeutic care.
The Ryan Bartel Foundation works with healthcare and mental health professionals to help young people access supportive, prevention-focused experiences that strengthen protective factors and reduce isolation.
Together, we can help bridge the gap between treatment and everyday opportunities for connection and belonging.

How Our Programs Support Youth
Building Connection Alongside Clinical Care.
Ryan Bartel Foundation programs are designed to complement—not replace—clinical mental health services. Our prevention-focused programs provide opportunities for young people to build meaningful connections, develop coping skills, strengthen resilience, and experience a sense of belonging in a supportive peer environment.
For many teens, group-based experiences can work alongside outpatient therapy by providing opportunities to:
- Connect with peers who share similar experiences and challenges
- Practice healthy coping skills in real-world settings
- Build confidence, social connection, and a sense of belonging
- Develop supportive relationships with trusted adults and peers
- Strengthen protective factors that promote mental wellness
Who May Benefit From Our Programs.
Our programs may be a good fit for young people ages 12–18 who:
- Are looking for meaningful social connection and a greater sense of belonging
- Could benefit from additional opportunities to build confidence and resilience
- Experience mild to moderate feelings of loneliness, stress, anxiety, or social isolation
- Would benefit from structured, supportive peer experiences outside of therapy
- Are interested in learning practical wellness and coping strategies

Referral Considerations.
Ryan Bartel Foundation programs are not clinical treatments and are not designed to provide crisis intervention or intensive mental health services. We encourage youth experiencing acute mental health concerns, active suicidality, significant behavioral challenges, or requiring a higher level of care to remain connected with appropriate clinical providers.
Mental health professionals interested in referring a client are encouraged to contact us to discuss program fit and available opportunities.
