Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Ryan Bartel Foundation’s Notes of Hope Gala. The evening was made even more special by the incredible performance of Mendelssohn’s Octet by our talented chamber ensemble, the heartwarming celebration of our Beacon of Hope honoree, and the many moments that reminded us of the extraordinary power of human connection.

Today, we celebrate the importance of mental health worldwide—and the people who care for it every day. We also focus on the vital importance of listening and engagement. This year’s theme—Lived experiences heard: real voices, real change—is a reminder to not only champion mental health awareness, but to actively create spaces to hear those with lived experience. 🤲
This evening at our annual Notes of Hope Gala, RBF and our supportive community are coming together to connect, share, and listen to stories of hope as we navigate the challenge and opportunity of supporting teen mental health. Together, we are celebrating our commitment to creating communities where young people feel seen, supported, and connected. 🍂
All year long, RBF works to provide safe spaces of belonging so young people can learn skills and practical tools to build resilience. Through accessible programs, we offer affordable workshops and groups that impact teens early, preventing mental health crises before they occur and supporting lasting well-being to protect against self-harm.
On this World Mental Health Day, take a moment to do something good for your own mental health, whatever that looks like for you—whether it’s a short walk outside, taking a few deep breaths, reaching out to a friend, or simply resting.
