Rotary Club of Leesburg Makes 2 $10K Donations
The Rotary Club of Leesburg recently donated $10,000 each to two local nonprofits selected as the beneficiaries of the club’s annual Sticky Wicket Croquet Tournament. The grants were presented by outgoing Club President Bruce Roberts to representatives of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and its Loudoun County Chapter “Roots Grow Wings” and The Ryan Bartel Foundation, a youth suicide prevention organization.

Setting Teens up for a Lifetime of Positive Mental Health
The Ryan Bartel Foundation partnered with Brambleton’s own psychologist and “teen whisperer” Dr. Cam Caswell (Dr. Cam) and Ofosu Jones-Quartey, a mindfulness professional, to create a 12-week series of workshops uniquely for teens to help them cope with depression, anxiety, loneliness, and low self-worth.

Loudoun Impact Fund distributes $105,000 in grants to 12 area nonprofits
The Loudoun Impact Fund, a group of individuals and businesses based in Northern Virginia who cooperate in collective grantmaking, issued $105,000 in grants to nonprofit organizations serving Loudoun County in December, according to a statement issued by the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties.
The Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter (LAWS), Loudoun Hunger Relief, Loudoun Volunteer Caregivers, All Ages Read Together, A Farm Less Ordinary, Women Giving Back, ECHO, Friends of Loudoun Mental Health, the Ryan Bartel Foundation, Insight Memory Care and Crossroads Jobs all received a portion of the $105,000, the Community Foundation said.
